Interac e-Transfer, Visa, Mastercard, MuchBetter, Paysafecard, Apple PayAsk ten people in Toronto how they fund a casino account and most will say Interac. That habit carried straight into the regulated market. Of the 20 operators we track, every single one lists some form of Interac in its cashier, and for the bulk of them it is the default button.
So a page about Interac casinos in Ontario isn't really about finding one that accepts it. It is about the details that make the experience smooth or annoying: which version of Interac the site uses, how long the money takes to come back, what your bank caps you at, and why a deposit sometimes bounces for reasons that have nothing to do with the casino.
The cards above are the ten operators we'd start with. Below them, the full cashier table covers everyone.
This trips people up more than anything else on a cashier page.
Interac e-Transfer is the one you already use to pay your roommate. At a casino it works the same way, except the request usually comes from a payment processor working for the operator. You pick an amount, get redirected or sent a request, sign in to your bank and approve it. Funds tend to appear in your casino balance within a few minutes.
Interac Online is an older system that let you pay a merchant straight from your chequing account through your bank's website, a bit like a debit card for the web. Fewer banks support it now, and on mobile it can feel clunky. In our data, Betway is the regulated Ontario site that lists Interac Online rather than e-Transfer. If your bank doesn't support it, iDebit (also in Betway's cashier) is the closest workaround.
When a review just says "Interac accepted", it doesn't tell you which of the two you'll meet. Our table does.
At a regulated Ontario site, the flow is close to identical from brand to brand:
Before you get there, you'll have finished registration and identity verification. Ontario rules require operators to confirm who you are and that you're 19 or older, and the geolocation check has to place you inside the province when you play. You can be visiting from Gatineau and still play, as long as you're physically on the Ontario side.
Withdrawals are where Interac shows its two halves. The transfer itself is fast once the casino sends it. What takes time is the operator's internal review: a person or a system checks your account, confirms your ID is complete, looks at whether you have bonus funds still tied to wagering, and only then releases the payment.
Published estimates for Interac payouts are all over the place. bet365 is reported to pay Interac within 24 hours; Jackpot City states 24 to 48 hours; DraftKings lists 3 to 5 days for Interac while PayPal moves faster there. We break those claims down, sources included, on our fast payout casinos page.
One thing that is consistent: the first withdrawal is the slowest. After that, a verified account with no pending bonus usually moves much quicker.
People expect the casino to set the ceiling. Often it's the bank.
Interac e-Transfer limits vary by bank and sometimes by account type. A daily cap, a weekly cap and a monthly cap can all apply, and a brand-new payee may get a lower limit for the first few days. The casino then adds its own minimum and maximum per transaction, which you'll find in the cashier. We won't print a single "typical limit" because there isn't one: a chequing account at a big-five bank and one at a credit union can be miles apart.
On fees, the regulated sites we list don't advertise charges for Interac deposits or withdrawals. Your bank might. Some packages include unlimited e-Transfers; basic accounts sometimes charge per transfer. Have a look at your fee schedule before you make ten small deposits in a weekend.
And a practical note: small, frequent deposits are harder to keep track of. If you use Interac, set a deposit limit in the casino account too. Our responsible gambling guide explains the tools every Ontario operator has to offer.
The name on your bank account must match the name on your casino account. Not roughly. Exactly enough that a compliance team won't flag it.
If your bank has you as "Marie-Claude Tremblay" and you registered as "Marie Tremblay", expect a question. Joint accounts can also trigger a review. Using a partner's or parent's account is the fastest way to have a deposit reversed or a withdrawal frozen, because Ontario operators must follow anti-money-laundering rules and know the source of the money.
The usual documents: government photo ID, sometimes a proof of address, and occasionally a screenshot of the bank account showing your name. Upload them right after you sign up, not when you're waiting on a payout.
Visa and Mastercard sit in most Ontario cashiers, yet card deposits fail more often than Interac ones. The casino usually isn't the problem.
Several Canadian banks block gambling transactions on their credit cards, or treat them as cash advances with interest from day one and a fee on top. Others allow them only on debit-style Visa cards. Since the rules differ from bank to bank and change without much notice, a decline at checkout often just means your card issuer said no. Card withdrawals are also less common, so you may deposit by card and still be asked to cash out another way.
That's one more reason Interac became the default here. It pulls from money you actually have.
This table lists all operators registered with the AGCO that we cover, with the methods recorded in our data. "Not confirmed" means the minimum is shown in the cashier once you're logged in and we couldn't verify it independently.

Three entries come with a caveat: Ruby Fortune's card options are assumed from its sister sites, and Interac at NorthStar Bets and Casino Classic is standard for those platforms but we couldn't confirm it directly. Check the cashier before depositing. Detailed reviews of Spin Casino and Jackpot City go further into their banking pages.
Plenty of reasons to use something else. Your bank might cap e-Transfers low, you might want to keep casino spending out of your chequing history, or you might simply want faster withdrawals at a given brand.
Here's what Ontario cashiers offer instead, based on our data:
Our opinion? For most players, Interac e-Transfer in and Interac or an e-wallet out is the least painful combination. If you play mainly on a phone, the mobile casinos page compares how each app handles the cashier.
You won't find a crypto option at any Ontario-registered casino. The regulated framework is built around Canadian-dollar accounts and verified payment methods, and none of the operators in the iGaming Ontario market accept Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies.
Sites that do take crypto and market to Ontarians are offshore. This domain used to promote one of them, and our notice about 7Bit Casino explains why we removed it. In short, an unregistered site gives you no AGCO oversight and no iGaming Ontario complaint route if a withdrawal goes missing. For a payment method meant to move your own money, that's a poor trade.
Stick with the cashier table above, deposit what you've budgeted, and keep your ID uploaded before your first win.
The regulated sites we list do not advertise a fee for Interac deposits or withdrawals. Your bank is a separate question: some account plans include free e-Transfers and others charge per transfer, so check your own fee schedule.
Usually not without extra checks. Ontario operators have to know who you are and where the money goes, so they normally pay back to the same method and the same name. If you changed banks, contact support before you request the withdrawal.
Yes. The cashier inside the iOS and Android apps of the big Ontario operators offers the same Interac option as the desktop site. You approve the transfer in your bank app, then switch back.
Most deposits land within minutes. If yours has not, check that you completed the approval step in your bank, that the name matches your casino account and that you did not exceed your daily e-Transfer limit. Then send support the reference number.
