★4.8 / 5Big-name lobby with Evolution and Ezugi live tables
Details
How it scored

Interac e-Transfer, Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Skrill, Bank transferThe quiet member of the Cadtree family: fewer games, Evolution live tables, and a cashier that keeps things short.

Interac e-Transfer, Visa, MastercardRoyal Vegas is the quiet one in the Cadtree family. It doesn't have Jackpot City's app numbers or Spin Casino's two live studios, and it doesn't really try to compete with them. What it gives Ontario players is a compact Games Global casino with Evolution tables, a C$10 minimum deposit and a three-method cashier.
Our overall score of 4.0 puts it below both siblings. This Royal Vegas Casino review explains why, and who might still prefer it.
The Royal Vegas brand dates from the early years of online casinos, long before Ontario regulated anything. Its Ontario site at royalvegas.ca/ontario is much younger. The review we relied on gives a launch date of 22 August 2022, and the brand appears in iGaming Ontario's directory of registered operators (listing dated 1 September 2026, checked by us on 26 October). The operator is Cadtree Limited.
That age gap shows in the design. The lobby feels like a classic desktop casino brought up to date rather than something built for phones from day one.
Some people like exactly that. Fewer menus, fewer banners.
The number you'll see quoted is "400+ games". It comes from a review page bylined August 2025, and it is the only count we could confirm from a public source. We suspect it's low. Games Global lobbies add titles steadily, and the sister brands on the same platform report 1,000 or more. But we haven't found a current Royal Vegas figure, and we won't make one up.
In practice, expect the Games Global staples, mostly slots plus RNG blackjack and roulette, and a thinner bench of outside studios than the big Ontario lobbies carry. The slots sub-score of 3.9 reflects that depth, not the quality of what's there. If variety is the point, our online slots guide lists bigger catalogues.
The live dealer section comes from Evolution, the studio behind most of the live blackjack, roulette and game shows in Ontario. A solid base. We couldn't confirm how many tables are open or whether any are Ontario-only; the lobby shows what's running when you log in.
Spin Casino, on the same platform, adds Ezugi to Evolution. If live play is your main reason to sign up, that's the better pick in this family. Our live casino page compares the wider field.

Same company, three different shapes. Royal Vegas has the narrowest cashier, the fewest confirmed games and the only Android setup that bypasses Google Play. Read our Jackpot City review or Spin Casino review for the other two.
iPhone users get a native app, "Royal Vegas Casino Real Money", published by Cadtree Limited and rated 4.5 out of 5 from about 570 ratings on the Canadian store. Good score, small sample. Read it as "no widespread complaints" rather than proof of excellence.
Android is the awkward part. We found no Google Play listing, and according to the review we used, Android players download an APK file from the Royal Vegas site itself. That works, but you'll have to allow installs from unknown sources in your phone settings, and updates won't come through the Play Store.
Only take that file from royalvegas.ca/ontario. Never from a mirror, a forum link or a message. Or skip the download and play in your mobile browser, which does the same job with less fuss. Our mobile casinos guide covers both routes.
Royal Vegas quotes 1 to 7 days depending on the method. That is a wide window, and it's the main reason the payout sub-score sits at 3.9. At Ontario casinos Interac is generally the fastest route back to a bank account; card payouts, where your bank supports them, tend to take longer.
A few habits shorten the wait anywhere:
If speed is the priority, our fast payout list is a better starting point.
A Royal Vegas account is its own account. Balance, history and limits don't carry over to Jackpot City or Spin Casino, even though Cadtree runs all three, and each one needs its own sign-up and identity check.
What is shared is the framework. One company carries the obligations of AGCO registration across these brands, the terms tend to follow the same template, and complaints take the same path: the operator first, then iGaming Ontario. If you've played at one Cadtree site, nothing here will surprise you. If a policy annoyed you at one, expect to meet it again.
Royal Vegas asks for the usual details: name, date of birth, address, email and phone number, followed by identity verification. You must be 19 or older and inside Ontario whenever you play, which the site checks by geolocation each session. You don't have to live here; you just have to be here.
Players close to a provincial border, in Ottawa or Kenora for instance, sometimes get blocked by a vague location fix. Turning on location services or switching from Wi-Fi to mobile data usually sorts it out.
There are two quick checks. First, look the brand up in the regulated market list at igamingontario.ca, where Cadtree Limited should appear as the operator. Second, check the address bar: the Ontario site lives under royalvegas.ca/ontario.
The brand also runs outside Canada under other licences. Those versions are not legal options in Ontario, offer no recourse through iGaming Ontario, and may accept payment methods that regulated sites don't. A registered Ontario site shows its AGCO registration in the footer.
Deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion are all available, as the AGCO requires; the full set is listed in your account settings. Set a deposit limit at sign-up. Raising it later comes with a waiting period, which is the whole point.
Excluding yourself at Royal Vegas closes Royal Vegas, nothing else. To block every regulated Ontario site at once, sister brands included, use BetGuard, iGaming Ontario's centralized self-exclusion program. ConnexOntario answers at 1-866-531-2600, day or night, in English or French. Our responsible gambling page has the details.
Our take: Royal Vegas makes sense if you want a plain, uncluttered Games Global lobby on an iPhone. On Android, or if you want more games, pick one of its siblings.
