Interac e-Transfer, Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Skrill, Bank transferThis page once promoted 7Bit Casino. It now explains why a crypto casino licensed in Curaçao has no place on an Ontario guide.
The short version: 7Bit Casino is a cryptocurrency casino operated by Dama N.V. under a licence from Curaçao. It has never been registered with the AGCO, it isn't part of iGaming Ontario's market, and so we removed every link to it from this site.
The longer version is below, because the reasons say a lot about how Ontario's market works.
| 7Bit Casino | AGCO-registered casino | |
|---|---|---|
| Operator | Dama N.V. | Company registered with the AGCO |
| Licence | Curaçao | AGCO registration plus iGaming Ontario agreement |
| Payments | Mainly cryptocurrency | Canadian dollars: Interac, cards, bank transfer, e-wallets |
| Complaints | Operator, then the Curaçao regulator | Operator, then iGaming Ontario |
| Self-exclusion | Its own tools only | Operator tools plus BetGuard, Ontario's central program |
| Location check | Not required by Ontario rules | Geolocation confirms you're in Ontario |
If 7Bit caught your eye because you hold Bitcoin or another coin, here's the catch. Ontario-registered casinos don't take cryptocurrency deposits. Accounts are held in Canadian dollars, and money moves through traceable payment methods: Interac, debit and credit cards where the bank allows them, online banking, a handful of e-wallets.
That's a choice built into the rules. Regulated operators have to know who their customers are, where their money comes from and that it lands back in an account in the player's own name. Crypto's speed and pseudonymity work against that. So when a casino advertises crypto deposits to Ontarians, it's a fairly reliable sign you're looking at an offshore site.
Want to cash out fast without crypto? Several registered casinos pay Interac withdrawals quickly once your account is verified. Our fast-payout guide shows the timings we recorded.
Ontario's law targets unregistered operators rather than people who play there. That doesn't make it safe. A dispute with 7Bit over a withdrawal, a bonus rule or a closed account has nowhere to go in Ontario: iGaming Ontario can't help, and the AGCO has no authority over the operator. Crypto adds its own layer of trouble. Coin values move while your withdrawal is pending, a transfer sent to the wrong address can't be reversed, and you're responsible for keeping records of every transaction.
Ontario-standard player protections aren't guaranteed either. A Curaçao-licensed site may offer limits and self-exclusion of its own, but it isn't connected to BetGuard.
Start with our list of Ontario online casinos, where every operator is registered. If you liked 7Bit for its live tables, the live casino guide covers the registered sites with the best croupier lineups; Spin Casino is a sensible first look if you mostly play on mobile. A few registered options appear in the cards below. Any promotion they run is shown on their own site once you're logged in.

Interac e-Transfer, Visa, Mastercard, Instadebit, iDebit, Paysafecard, Bank transferNo. Registered Ontario casinos hold accounts in Canadian dollars and accept methods such as Interac, cards and online banking. If you hold crypto, you'd have to sell it through an exchange and deposit Canadian dollars.
Ontario's rules are aimed at operators that offer gambling without registration, not at individual players. The real issue is protection: you have no recourse through iGaming Ontario or the AGCO if something goes wrong.
Request a withdrawal through the casino's cashier and keep screenshots of your balance, the request and any messages with support. If there's a dispute, your options are the operator and its foreign licensing body, not Ontario's regulators.
